Effortlessly refine your 3D scenes with precise shadow and shade control using the great HDR Light Studio tool. Enjoy!

This tutorial guides you through the simplified process of positioning shadows and shades directly on your rendered image. Simply click on the desired area, and the software intelligently places the light to achieve the effect. These exciting new functionalities are brought to you by the recent update in HDR Light Studio 8.2.

Expand your creative toolkit by integrating the HDR Light Studio plugin with your preferred 3D software. This specialized lighting interface offers seamless compatibility with a wide range of industry-standard applications, including:
  • 3ds Max
  • Blender
  • Cinema 4D
  • DeltaGen
  • Houdini
  • Maya
  • MODO
  • Octane Standalone
  • Omniverse
  • Patchwork 3D
  • Rhino

Introducing LightPaint: The secret behind this intuitive workflow is the LightPaint feature within HDR Light Studio. LightPaint empowers users to interactively position lights and fine-tune their properties (size, intensity, location, etc.) directly on the rendered image, in real-time. HDR Light Studio 8.2 introduces two innovative methods for light placement: Shadow and Shade LightPaint. These join the existing options of Reflection, Rim, and Illumination LightPaint methods, further expanding your creative possibilities.
